The board changes with the season

Maple breve when it turns cold. Lavender matcha when it warms up. Something with pumpkin in it the moment anyone starts asking.

Thirty five years

The coffee took over

Levi and Joanna King opened Kitchen Cupboard in 1991 with shelves of mustard, jam and jelly, and a little bit of coffee. The coffee won.

Thirty five years later we are still here, in Davis Mercantile, pouring for a lot of the same families.

Roasted in Goshen

We do not roast our own

We could buy commodity coffee by the pallet. Instead we buy from Regina Troyer at Refinery Coffee Co., twenty miles down the road in Goshen.

Regina started roasting in 2005. She sources from more than fifteen countries, air-roasts on site, and has traveled a long way to get better at it. She is involved in every step of it.

You can take a bag home with you. Ask at the counter.

Espresso, frappes, smoothies, bubble tea

Alternative milks on anything. Bagels and egg bites in the morning. Ice cream when the weather turns.
